MACCH leads a collaborative network of partners that coordinate resources to prevent and end homelessness in Douglas, Sarpy, and Pottawattamie Counties. MACCH's community-wide team consists of member agencies, governmental representatives, corporate members, and individual advocates. Are you ready to join the team?
Who Can Join MACCH?
In short, everyone. All individuals and organizations interested in contributing towards and learning about broad-based solutions to homelessness in the Omaha/Council Bluffs area are eligible for MACCH membership.
Why Be A Member?
Members engage the larger community in solutions to prevent and end homelessness. They also:
Gather data about homelessness at local, state, and national levels
Coordinate meetings with governmental officials
Create a community-wide legislative agenda to benefit individuals and families experiencing homelessness
Provide feedback to statewide homeless initiatives
Promote a positive public image of homeless service providers and of homelessness in general
Continue education on national trends and social justice
Collaborate to achieve the shared goals of preventing and ending homelessness in our community
